The Learning Resource Centre

The Learning Resource Centre is open for students from 8 am  to 4.30pm.This is the most popular area in the school  during lunch , break time, before and after school.  

Our Learning Resource Centre is well equipped  with a range of resources consisting of books, journals, magazines, DVDs  covering every  topic of the curriculum.  

We have a large ICT learning zone, where around 35 computers are equipped with printing facilities available for students to work on their own or with partners. We also have large tables to do group study or course work.  

The Accelerated Reading Programme promotes literacy in our school.  We have developed a very strong Accelerated Reading Programme which helps students improve their reading.  

We have lots of activities in the Library.  We celebrate Book Week, National Poetry day, World Book Day and Shadow The Carnegie Medal etc...

We have over 14,000 fiction and information books available for student to choose from.  You can come to the library to do your home work before school after school or during lunch time. Our dedicated staff are  always available to help you.
