The Crest Girls’ Academy is being completely rebuilt as part of a £40m building project that will see a brand new Academy building open for September 2014.

The new building, which will be a resource for both students and the local community will include:
  • separate girls’ and boys’ Academies, sports facilities and a co-educational Sixth Form in four pavilion buildings in an attractive park setting.
  • flexible classrooms and learning spaces equipped with the latest ICT hardware.
  • a range of educational and sports’ resources such as a library, dance and drama studios, as well as extensive outdoor facilities for use by the Academies and the local community.
  • capacity to expand student numbers by 300 over the next five years.
